Knowledge Center

Our Knowledge Center, set to launch in 2012, will leverage the expertise of America’s Promise Alliance partners, the experiences of communities throughout the country and the best advice from the research community to spur data-driven action.

The Knowledge Center will feature interactive tools and resources that will help communities link local data to evidence-based best practices, support strategic planning and implementation, and measure the effectiveness of their efforts.

Through Grad Nation — our campaign to end the high school dropout crisis and prepare young people for college and the 21st century workforce — the Alliance continues to see communities recognizing the value in working together to provide the key developmental resources young people need to succeed. Despite tangible progress toward these goals, communities are seeking more effective strategies for understanding their community needs, developing valid theories of change and implementing effective practices. The new Knowledge Center is being designed to support these communities—helping them build on their strengths to maximize their impact on the lives of the young people they serve.

Grad Nation Impact Center

The Impact Center will be a tool for communities to acquire, interpret and use both local knowledge and evidence-based best practices, which will in turn positively transform youth outcomes.
